Targeting Sustainability

At 756Group we strive to help mark a positive change towards constructing sustainable builds to help set up a brighter future for generations to come. We start this process by creating sustainable foundations that set the tone for the entirety of the project. These foundations are defined by a variety of crucial elements that need to be considered.

With complexities now arising with urban build up and diminishing space the need for multi-purpose builds are as crucial as ever. Designs incorporating residential with commercial and business spaces are now essential, as well as designs that incorporate community facilities. By having an all-in-one design maximum use for that area can be achieved making the project sustainably beneficial for the community and the surrounds.

With housing affordability becoming further out of reach and general cost of living ever increasing options to create affordable living spaces is a practice that we strive to uphold for the benefit of our emerging generations.

Affordability

We ensure that each aspect of the project lifecycle is completed to the absolute best of our ability and within budget.

We takie the extra time to make sure that any works, both internal and external, are completed to both the highest level of quality and to Australian Standards.

We set up thoroughly researched suppliers for the project to ensure that materials are of premium quality, are easily accessible and deliverable. By setting up a streamline procurement process this saves on time and potential wastage.

The Australian climate can be harsh with extreme temperature shifts being common. It is essential that during the construction process that multiple factors are considered such as material durability, thermal efficiency, and issues relating to Urban Heat.

Implementing water efficient technologies such as productive plumbing fixtures and appliances, minimising erosion during the build, providing solutions to rainwater run off, and providing adequate drainage.

Provisioning a sustainable project may create slightly higher set-up costs but in the long run any sustainable strategies that have been implemented should create long-term savings and on-going value.

Creating designs that reduce reliance on external resources such as generating self-sufficient energy through solar, reducing the additional need for water with rain tank provisions, and using eco-friendly materials such as recycled bricks.

Reducing the carbon footprint by thoughtfully integrating solar energy in the design. Installation of solar panels converts Australia’s abundance of sunlight to electrical energy which reduces the dependance on the main power grid that also saves you money for the long-term.

By using the natural surrounds and clever layouts heating and cooling can be perfected by implementing designs that focus on building orientation to optimise natural exposure, window glazing to regulate internal temperatures, and window placement to minimise the need for artificial lighting.

Incorporating and maximising the use of vegetation in the project reduces erosion by stabilising the soil, provides shade thus minimises heat issues, and improves air quality by absorbing pollutants. Natural vegetation also is visually pleasing especially when native plants are embraced.
